Canned Banners provides advertisers, ad networks, and agencies with technology and tools that streamline the process of designing display ads. We think a key component of any successful display ad strategy is the ability to generate new ads quickly and easily.
We want to transform display ad design from a costly bottleneck to a streamlined process that scales on demand. And we think advertisers at all levels should have easy access to top-notch display ad creative. Explore our solutions that are making this happen:
Display ad design made easy through automation
Do you hate designers?
Heck no! Canned Banners is a strong believer in the the design process (read our blog and articles we’ve written if you don’t believe us). We think that designers should do what they do best, which is designing. We automate the tasks that no one (including designers) want to do, such as making endless copy tweaks or generating several thousand variations of a single concept. Our basic ad templates are created by skilled designers, but we can also create custom templates based on concepts from your designer or agency.
Are you angel- or VC-backed?
Nope. All of this was built by these three guys with no outside investment. Not that we’re opposed to taking money to grow Canned Banners, we just made a decision early on to make product development our primary focus, which hasn’t left any time for raising money.
How long have you been around?
Canned Banners began development on our Basic Ad Builder in 2009. In 2010, we added our Private Label ad builder (which was discontinued in early 2012 so that we could replace it with a much better app). In 2011, we started a private beta of our dynamic ad solution.
What’s next for Canned Banners?
In 2012, we’ll be launching our API and several new apps (all built using our API). We’ll also continue rolling out our dynamic display ad solution to clients and partners. Generally speaking, we’ll be real busy.
Is Canned Banners better for large companies or small advertisers?
Canned Banners is a little like a typewriter. You could use it to write a best-selling novel or an 8th-grade term paper. Our solutions can be configured for very simple use cases or very complex ones. Because of this flexibility, our clients run the gamut from Fortune 500 brands to local mom-and-pops.
This is so cool, I want to be a part of this!
Even though that’s not a question, it’s really flattering. If you’re a potential employee, freelancer, developer, investor, partner, or client, get in touch with us and tell us what you have in mind.
