Our Team

Co-Founder, Marketing and Business Development
Background: B2B Marketing
After several years running B2B advertising campaigns in the financial services and software industries, Myles was frustrated with the agency creative process. It took an astonishing amount of money and time to develop even simple ad campaigns. In 2007, Myles was struck with the an idea for making the creative process more efficient for banner advertising. Shortly thereafter, he and Jeremy began working on Canned Banners in their spare time. Until mid-2010, Myles continued honing his B2B marketing skills, eventually ending up in an international marketing role at Thomson Reuters. Before Canned Banners consumed all his time, Myles was a pretty good guitarist, singer, writer, and illustrator.

Co-Founder, Product Design and Flash Development
Background: Ad Agency
Jeremy is at his core, a designer and developer has always enjoyed both aspects equally. He started college as a Computer Science major, switching after a year to Graphic Design and to this day can't make up his mind which he'd rather do. Upon graduation, he decided to try designing and building something called an "internet web page". To his surprise he had a knack for it. After several years building his Flash portfolio in Boston, he moved to San Francisco to work for the award-winning ad agency Venables Bell & Partners creating online creative for brands like Orville Redenbacher, Pacific Gas & Electric and HBO. He is widely recognized as the most handsome member of Canned Banners.

Co-Founder, Web Development
Background: Front-end and Back-end Web Development
Though receiving his degree in Information and Telecommunication Systems, Chris quickly realized his true passion was in web technologies. He most recently held a position at Cisco Systems as a front-end developer on the Eos Enterprise Media Platform. When he's not thinking about and dreaming Javascript, he enjoys going to live concerts, practicing his guitar, homebrewing, and tea snobbery.
